| MEDMA is the international association for the promotion of Drymix Mortars for better, faster, longer-lasting and quality minded construction in the Middle East. Modern drymix mortars are sustainable, locally produced materials that minimize construction time, energy consumption, failures and maintenance time and cost. The main applications are masonry mortars, flooring screeds, renders, plasters, putties, tile adhesives, grouts, self-leveling underlayments, thermal insulation systens (EIFS), concrete renovation, waterproofing slurries and powder paints.
MEDMA's members are dedicated to introduce and improve Drymix Mortars in the Middle East and work with legislators to push for the standardisation of Drymix Mortars with consideration of the regional building traditions & climates.

| The Middle East Facility Management Association (MEFMA) is a professional body aimed at unifying the facility management industry in the Middle East region. MEFMA is a nonprofit association dedicated at promoting excellence in the management of facilities through a professional body. The association shall conduct research, provide educational programs, and assist corporate and organizational facility managers in developing strategies to manage human, facility and real estate resources within their country. MEFMA shall develop products and services to assist the future of FM in the Middle East, for example, benchmark studies, minimum FM design requirements per building usage etc.Conducting research studies and promoting an ongoing dialogue to help ensure productive work environments will also be high on MEFMA’s agenda as well as being a platform for marketing and networking opportunities for FM-related companies. |

| The contracting sector in the UAE is one of the main stays of the national economy. The UAE Contractors’ Association was formed in 1985 under the decree passed by the Ministry of Labour & Social Affairs. As a non profit entity The Association is the official representative of the contracting community in the UAE. It is also a member of the World Organisation of Building Officials (WOBO), stemming from the United Nations and also a member of The Arab Contractors Union and The Union of Contractors of the Islamic States. The Association aims at promoting technical awareness, developing standards and codes for building materials and equipment and also promoting the UAE in the international markets by participating in exhibitions and conferences, paying official visits to other countries and inviting representatives of contractors from other countries. It has already signed up protocols of co-operations with several countries. |
